Admissions
The Keys of Carolina provides services to general psychiatric male and female. A specialized program is also offered for males who are Sexually Aggressive. The following are the admission requirements:
- Age 12 to 17 (must complete the program by age 18)
- IQ 70 or greater
- Attempted and failed in lower levels of care (Outpatient therapy, Therapeutic Foster Care, Group Homes, and/or Hospitalizations)
-Willing to follow the clinical and psychiatric recommendations of the professionals
Referral Packets should contain the following documents:

A letter from the referral source stating why the client needs placement
- Psychiatric
and Psychological Evaluations
- Social History
- Educational Information (Individual Education Plan if Special Education)
- Current Physical & Medical History
- Discharge Information from previous treatment provider
