Nursing Department

Our nursing department is staffed around the clock, entirely with licensed RNs and LPNs who have experience in the Behavioral health field. The Director of Nursing is a degreed nurse with extensive behavioral care experience. Our nurses work side by side with the physicians and residential staff to provide holistic care to our clients. The nurses are actively involved with the clients on their units as well as being full participators in inter-disciplinary meetings concerning the clients.

Any medical issues that arise are assessed and treated appropriately by the nurses in consultation with the physicians/APN. Adolescence is a time of physical changes and our nursing staff is vigilant of these concerns and handle individual issues as they arise.

Additionally, our nursing staff spends a great deal of their time educating our clients on various issues of concern to them.

You can be confident that your loved one is handled individually and provided information and medical care that is of the highest quality here at the Keys of Carolina.
